THE WHY BEHIND MEET ME IN THE BIBLE
This is not a fill-in-the-blank study. It is a simple, five-step framework designed to help you read the Bible.
I’ve had numerous conversations with women over my past years of ministry, and I’ve found that although many women do Bible studies, few feel confident opening the Bible and reading it on their own. And although many have a desire to lead a Bible study, few feel equipped to do so.
Meet Me in the Bible is a tool to help you do both.
HOW TO USE MEET ME IN THE BIBLE
Meet Me in the Bible is a framework that incorporates the time-tested stages of Bible reading: Observation, Interpretation, and Application. Prompts are provided to help you observe, interpret, and apply the Scriptures.
You will also be prompted to use simple and accessible tools as you study. You can use this framework again and again, for any book of the Bible. It is effective for both personal and group study.
The tools included in each Meet Me in the Bible book are:
A Bible Study Bookmark with prompts and open-ended questions to help you observe, interpret, and apply the Scriptures
Word-for-word Bible text, double-spaced and with extra margin for note-taking. The book also includes designated spaces that correspond with the prompts on the Bible Study Bookmark.
A simple Bible timeline to help you understand the cohesive story of the Bible
A map to reference as you study
A list of the attributes of God to help focus on his character and his ways
Links to other helpful resources for Bible study, including user-friendly websites and articles to help you lead
